Celem artykułu jest próba interpretacji słów prof. Wiktora Degi: "Chory staw biodrowy - chory człowiek". Autorzy przedstawiają w pracy różnorodność cech, jakimi objawiają się zespoły zaburzeń w obrębie stawów biodrowych bez względu na etap trwającego procesu chorobowego.

Zwraca się uwagę, że wśród dostrzeganych przez wielu lekarzy i fizjoterapeutów klinicznych objawów choroby, pewne cechy mogą mieć swoje podłoże nie tylko w zmianach strukturalnych czy organicznych, ale również w innych, związanych z osobowością człowieka. Podkreśla się, że narząd ruchu przez swoją funkcję integrującą ma zdolności odbierania oraz nadawania bodźców dotyczących nie tylko procesu chorobowego, ale i procesu leczniczego. Autorzy wskazują na ważność stosowania fizjoprofilaktyki oraz działań terapii manualnej w przypadku zmian w obrębie stawów biodrowych, które skutecznie wspierają specjalistyczne leczenie, poprawiając komfort życia pacjenta.

The aim of the article is an attempt to interpret the words of Prof. Wiktor Dega's: "Deseased hip joint-ill person". The authors have presented a variety of features which show the hip joint functional disorder syndromes in the area of the hip joint regardless of the stage at the disease's. It has been stressed that among noticed by many doctors and physiotherapists the clinical symptoms of illness any features can be caused not only by structural or organic changes but also others, connected with a personality. The emphasis of motion by combining function has skills of receiving and giving stimulus, which concern not only the illness process but also the treatment process. The authors have presented the importance of using physioprevention and manual medicine in the case of disfunctions of the hip joint. These procedures effectively support specialist treatment, improving the patiens quality of life.
