Patients with thalassaemia are now surviving into their fifth decade of life; however, many show problems with growth and sexual development in their adolescent years.
In this review the clinical manifestations and management of growth and endocrine complications in these patients are presented. Key words: thalassaemia, growth, endocrine complications.
