Akupunktura nale?y do metod fizjoterapii znanych od wieków w medycynie chi?skiej. W ostatniej dekadzie metoda ta staje si? coraz bardziej popularna równie? w krajach zachodnich, w tym tak?e u dzieci i m?odych doros?ych ze schorzeniami i zaburzeniami neurologicznymi. W latach 2002?2008 ukaza?o si? wi?cej ni? 30 oryginalnych publikacji w ?wiatowej literaturze przede wszystkim dotycz?cych zastosowania akupunktury w mózgowym pora?eniu dzieci?cym, opó?nieniach neurorozwojowych, zaburzeniach j?zykowych, wegetatywnych, udarze mózgu, tikach i bólach g?owy u dzieci. Autorzy przedstawiaj? równie? niektóre wyniki w?asne leczenia dzieci i m?odych kobiet z migren? i tikami.

SUMMARY 
Acupuncture belongs to physiotherapeutic methods which has been known for centries in Chinese medicine. In the last decade acupuncture became more popular even in Western countries in the treatment of children and young adults with neurological disease and disorders. Authors present some data from the literature and own experiences in this field. In the period 2002?2008 appeared more than 30 publications in the world literature first of all about use of acupuncture in cerebral palsy, neurodevelopment delay, tics and headaches in children. Authors present some results of the treatment of children and young women with migraine and tics.
