Celem podj?tych bada? jest ocena samopoczucia pacjentów w szpitalach. Badania przeprowadzono w kwietniu 2010 roku w grupie osób, które w tym czasie by?y pacjentami szpitala lub, które wcze?niej hospitalizowano. Informacje zosta?y zgromadzone z ró?nych regionów województwa ?l?skiego i ?wi?tokrzyskiego. Badaniu poddano osoby w ró?nym wieku, od 16 do 88 lat. ??cznie obj?to nim grup? 91 osób, w tym 78 kobiet i 13 m??czyzn. Metod? zastosowan? w badaniach by? sonda? diagnostyczny, w ramach którego zastosowano ankiet?.
W artykule przedstawiono fragment bada? dotycz?cych wp?ywu ?rodowiska szpitalnego na samopoczucie pacjentów. Wynika z nich, ?e jest ono determinowane przede wszystkim przez oczekiwania pacjentów w stosunku do placówki, w której si? znajduj?. Do takich czynników nale?? m.in. atmosfera panuj?ca na oddziale, uprzejmo??, zrozumienie i zainteresowanie ze strony personelu, jako?? podawanych posi?ków oraz poszanowanie intymno?ci. Warto zwróci? uwag?, ?e samopoczucie zale?y przede wszystkim od poziomu na jakim ?wiadczone s? dane us?ugi.

The goal of the undertaken research is to assess the disposition of patients in hospitals. The research was carried out in April 2010 in a group of people, who at the moment of it being conducted were hospital patients or who were hospitalized earlier. Information was gathered from different regions of the Swietokrzyskie and Silesian voivodeships. People of various age had undergone examination, from 16 to 88 years of age. In total it encompassed a group of 91 people, including 78 women and 13 men. The method used in the research was diagnostic survey, within the framework of which questionnaire was used. A fragment of the research regarding the influence of hospital environment on the patients? mood is presented in the article. It results from them that it is mainly determined by the patients? expectations towards the institution, in which they find themselves. To such factors belong, i.a. the atmosphere on the ward, kindness, understanding and interest from the personnel?s side, the quality of served meals as well as respect of intimacy. It is worth to take notice that disposition depends above all on the level at which given services are provided.
