PROBLEMY STUDENTÓW NIEPEŁNOSPRAWNYCH

STRESZCZENIE 
Celem przeprowadzonych badań było rozpoznanie najważniejszych problemów i oczekiwań studentów z różnymi rodzajami niepełnosprawności. Badaniem objęto ogólną liczbę 103 studentów niepełnosprawnych, w tym 61 kobiet i 42 mężczyzn w wieku 19–25 lat. Anonimowe badania ankietowe przeprowadzono w miesiącach marzec–kwiecień 2010 roku na terenie miasta Kielce. W artykule zaprezentowano fragment badań dotyczących problemu funkcjonowania studentów niepełnosprawnych w świecie akademickim, a także ich oczekiwań wobec sprawnych studentów, administracji i prowadzących zajęcia. W piśmiennictwie brak jest danych dotyczących struktury osób niepełnosprawnych studiujących na uczelniach wyższych w Polsce, co uniemożliwia dokładną charakterystykę tej populacji.

SUMMARY 
The goal of the carried out research was to distinguish the most important problems and expectations of students with various types of handicap. A total number of 103 handicapped students, including 61 women and 42 men aged 19–25, were included in the research. Anonymous questionnaire research was carried out in the months March–April of 2010 in the area of Kielce city. A fragment of the research concerning the problem of handicapped students’ functioning in the academic world, as well as their expectations towards fit students, administration, and lecturers, was presented in the article. There is a lack of data in literature concerning the structure of handicapped people studying at universities in Poland, which prevents a thorough characteristic of this population. However, handicapped people take up studying at universities ever more often. This is foremost a result of a gradual elimination of obstacles and introduction of new technologies, significantly facilitating handicapped people’s functioning on university grounds.
