STRESZCZENIE
Choroba zwyrodnieniowa odcinka szyjnego kr?gos?upa i towarzysz?ce jej zespo?y szyjno-czaszkowe stanowi? du?y problem wspó?czesnych czasów i w przypadku nieprawid?owego leczenia mog? doprowadzi? do niepe?nosprawno?ci. Celem pracy by?a ocena wp?ywu pr?dów TENS i Träberta na zmniejszenie dolegliwo?ci bólowych u pacjentów z chorob? zwyrodnieniow? odcinka szyjnego kr?gos?upa. Badaniu poddano 50 pacjentów leczonych z powodu choroby zwyrodnieniowej odcinka szyjnego kr?gos?upa. ?redni wiek pacjentów wynosi? w grupie PT 53,7 roku, a w grupie TENS 51,8 roku. Badanych podzielono na dwie 25-osobowe grupy. Zosta?y one podzielone w taki sposób, aby metod? ró?nicuj?ca by? jeden z pr?dów (Träbert lub TENS) pozosta?ymi zabiegami by?y pr?dy diadynamiczne, magnetoterapia i kinezyterapia. Pacjenci poddani byli szczegó?owemu badaniu klinicznemu: podmiotowemu i przedmiotowemu, zarówno przed terapi?, jak i zaraz po jej zako?czeniu. Ka?d? z grup zbadano pod wzgl?dem redukcji bólu skal? VAS oraz skal? Laitinena, przed i po wykonaniu zabiegów. Zastosowana fizjoterapia istotnie zmniejszy?a dolegliwo?ci bólowe pacjentów z chorob? zwyrodnieniow? odcinka szyjnego kr?gos?upa. Oceniaj?c efekty terapii skal? Vas, nie wykazano istotnej ró?nicy pomi?dzy grupami PT i TENS. W ocenie bardziej czu?? skal? Laitinena zaobserwowano po terapii istotne zmniejszenie dolegliwo?ci bólowych w grupie TENS.W fizjoterapii dolegliwo?ci bólowych pacjentów z chorob? zwyrodnieniow? odcinka szyjnego kr?gos?upa bardziej skuteczna jest terapia z pr?dami TENS. Kompleksowa fizjoterapia, ?agodz?c dolegliwo?ci bólowe u pacjentów z chorob? zwyrodnieniow? w odcinku szyjnym kr?gos?upa, ogranicza leczenie farmakologiczne.
S?owa kluczowe: choroba zwyrodnieniowa odcinka szyjnego kr?gos?upa, fizjoterapia, pr?dy TENS, pr?dy Träberta.

SUMMARY
Cervical spine degenerative disease and accompanying cervicocranial syndromes pose a serious problem in modern times and in case of improper treatment may lead to disability. The aim of the research was to assess the influence of TENS and Träbert currents on alleviating pains in patients with cervical spine degenerative disease. 50 patients treated due to cervical spine degenerative disease were encompassed by the research. The average age of a patient was 53.7 in the Träbert currents (TC) group and 51.8 in the TENS group. The examined were divided into two groups of 25 people. The groups were divided in such a way so that one of the currents (Träbert or TENS) was the differentiation method and the remaining treatment would consist of diadynamic currents, magnetotherapy and kinesitherapy. The patients were subjected to a detailed clinical examination: personal and material, both before the therapy and just after its end. Each group was examined in terms of pain reduction with the VAS scale and Laitinen scale, before and after performing treatment. The physiotherapy which was used, significantly alleviated pains of patients with cervical spine degenerative disease. No significant difference was indicated between the TC and TENS groups while assessing the effects of the therapy using the VAS scale. In assessment with the use of the more sensitive Laitinen scale, a significant alleviation of pains after the therapy was observed in the TENS group. Therapy using TENS currents is more effective in physiotherapy of pains of patients with cervical spine degenerative disease. Comprehensive physiotherapy, by alleviating pains in patients with cervical spine degenerative disease, reduces pharmacological treatment.
Key words: cervical spine degenerative disease, physiotherapy, TENS currents, Träbert currents.
